127. Lookout.

Still working on this painting thing. Swipe for a breakdown of the process and the steps going all the way back to the raw render and concept sketch. I naively thought that learning how to paint was going to be mostly about learning new (to me) techniques and honing skills, and it's definitely been that, but more than anything else, I'm finding that I need to adjust and adapt the way that I think about and approach the process. I'm really enjoying it and the distraction it's providing with everything going on in the world. I hope everyone is staying safe and positive out there (or in there, rather).
